Strategic approach to workplace health at GES

GES is a leading supplier of Abrasive Wear Plate and Special Steels to the mining, construction, agriculture and recycling industries.

The Health@Work team carried out an engagement survey with employees and developed our Health and Wellbeing Plan. Activities implemented included:

Health and Wellbeing Committee
Health Checks
Hearing Checks
Mental Health First Aid Training
Cancer Awareness information sessions
No Smoking Campaign
Health Eating initiatives

As well as this, employees took part in charity fundraising Hard as Oak, Football Tournaments, Coffee Mornings and Summer BBQs.
