A delegation from Families Voices Forum attended the National Suicide Prevention Alliance (NSPA) conference at the end of January.

The online conference covered the national strategy and the impact of COVID-19; lessons learned from waves 1-3 of NHS England suicide prevention funding; national progress on real time suicide surveillance; and national and local work to reduce online harms.

Our delegates were particularly interested in the ‘lived experience’ case studies and also the practical elements of a postvention service which were presented by the Tomorrow Project.

More details of the conference themes and topics are available at the NSPA website
