About us Our projects WHO Healthy Cities I Can Cook Growing, cooking and eating – it's the stuff of life. But our kitchens have never felt further from the source of our food. That's where Acorn Farm I Can Cook comes in. Acorn Farm I Can Cook is all about what we eat and where we get it from. Skills for cooking healthily, seasonally and sustainably are all around us, we just need to pay attention. This cooking programme is all about curiosity. From the country of origin on our supermarket veg, to the tips and tricks for preserving food or cutting food waste that our grandparents pass down, to the new varieties of food now growing right here due to a changing climate. About Acorn Farm Acorn Farm is an exciting project that will see the regeneration of a disused site into an urban food growing space with a new gate lodge and wider environmental improvements. The focus of the farm is to develop a high-quality, urban food growing hub, a a sustainable food event venue and an impressive visitor destination. This work will have a big positive impact on mitigating climate change and many other benefits, including people’s health, skills, and happiness. And that's where you come in. Repairing ecosystems, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and improving our own health all come together on our plate.
