There's great local representation from the Derry and Strabane Healthy City and District at the European Healthy Cities Annual Conference which is now underway.

Developing Healthy Communities, Derry City and Strabane District Council, North West Community Network and Bogside and Brandywell Health Forum are all taking part in this 3-day online event which continues through to Thursday, 10^th December.

The theme for this year’s event is ‘Healthy Cities in times of pandemic: protecting communities and building back better’.

Already, local leaders from across the WHO/Europe Region have called on the global community to invest in economic models that seek to create a more sustainable future to build back better from the #COVID19 pandemic.
