Understand the Whole Systems Approach to Healthier Weight

Helping people achieve and maintain a healthier weight is complex. Far too complex to tackle entirely at the individual level. The causes of obesity exist in the places where we live, work and play, where the food and built environment often makes it difficult to make healthier lifestyle choices.

We all have a responsibility to create local environments and places that promote a healthier weight.

That's why we're so pleased to be supporting the Whole Systems Approach to Healthier Weight in the Derry City and Strabane area. This short video from the PHA explains why this work is important and how changing the systems around us makes it easier for everyone to achieve a healthier weight.
