Developing Healthy Communities' Clear Project administers short-term funding for community and voluntary sector organisations on behalf of the Public Health Agency.  

These grants support:

  • Physical health & wellbeing.
  • Mental and emotional health and wellbeing.
  • Neighbourhood renewal.

    This year £1,480,654 has been awarded to over 440 projects across Northern Ireland.

    In this funding year, £1,660,564 was awarded to 370 projects across Northern Ireland.

    In this funding year, over £949,758 was awarded to 215 projects across the Belfast, Southern, South-eastern and Western Trust in Northern Ireland.

    In this funding year, over £758,761 was awarded to 190 projects across the Belfast, Southern, South-eastern and Western Trust in Northern Ireland. 


    Sports Grants

    Over 200 Sports Clubs supported

    286 sports clubs across the Western Trust have been funded since 2014 with over 1,085 coaches trained to make a difference in their local community.
