Board members

The Developing Healthy Communities Board meets at least quarterly and has appointed a Chair, Vice-Chair and Treasurer to carry out specific roles. The Developing Healthy Communities Board has also appointed a number of sub-committees that examine some issues in more detail and then report back to the Board for decision making purposes. Our current Sub-Committees are:

  • Officers’ Committee
  • Finance Committee
  • Communications Committee

Governance

Developing Healthy Communities is a charity, registered with the Charity Commission NI, and a Company Limited by Guarantee, registered with Companies House.

Developing Healthy Communities’ Board of Trustees (also the Directors of the Company) provides governance and oversight of the organisation. The Board is responsible for providing strategic direction and ensuring that the organisation is compliant with all relevant laws and regulations, as well as operating within our governing document and carrying out our public benefit purpose.
