Involving those who access your services and those who provide support is crucial to how you develop, deliver and evaluate your services. It is important to understand why carrying out involvement is so important and to build the practical skills and knowledge to carry out involvement projects effectively and  how we can do it.

This workshop offers participants the chance to increase their skills, knowledge and confidence in how they effectively and meaningfully carry out involvement. It is aimed at those who have little knowledge or experience of carrying out involvement and will provide a foundation in how to plan, structure and carry out an involvement project.

On completion of the workshop, participants will have:

  • An increased knowledge of various models of involvement
  • An increased confidence in their ability to involve service users and carers.
  • Developed skills in how the theory of involvement can be embedded in practice
